A small Inclusive faith Community, Mary, Mother of Jesus "Old-Catholic" Chapel is located in the countryside outside of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.  We believe in Christ's institution of all seven sacraments and in the Real Presence of Christ - Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in the consecrated (transubstantiated) Eucharist.  Gender does not inhibit the ordination of deacon, priest or bishop. Celibacy is a personal choice. 

     The century's old   European denomination of "Old Catholic" had its beginnings in the Ancient Roman Catholic Church of the Netherlands.  Like sister churches in Europe, present day American "Old-Catholics" usually follow traditional Roman Catholic theologies but are not affiliated with Rome. 

      European "Old-Catholics" belong to and are governed by the Union of Utrecht in the Netherlands. American "Old-Catholics" are governed within independent episcopal jurisdictions similar to that of our early historic Christian ancestors.  "Old-Catholic" Bishops hold Apostolic Succession thru a number of validated linages.   For more information click the "Old-Catholic" Abstract tab.

    You are invited to join us and participate in traditional English Masses, devotions, and services.  Communion is offered to any Christian baptized with water in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and who believes in the Real Presence.  Divorced and remarried as well as our LGBTQ brothers and sisters are always welcome to the Sacrament

     Mary, Mother of Jesus I.O.C.C. is active and committed to community outreach.  It is a member of the Council of Churches Schuylkill Haven & Vicinity and participates in a variety of ministries that assist individuals and families in need.
